           Brain is the most complex part of the human body. This three-pound organ is the seat of intelligence, interpreter of the senses, initiator of body movement, and controller of behavior.  It is made up of more than 100 billion nerves that communicate in trillions of connections called synapses. Lying in its bony shell and washed by protective fluid, the brain is the source of all the qualities that define our humanity. 

           The principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine says the head is the place where a large amount of Qi gathers and all Yang meridians of the human body will also gather at the top of the head. The head is also where the Government Vessels pathway will passthrough from back to the front at the center, this vessel also known as the " Sea of Marrow", thus place our brain in a essential and important part in our body. The acupuncture points on our scalp play an important role in regulating Qi and Blood and mobilizing the Yang energy of the body.  The classic text "Lingshu‧Weiqi" mentions: "The Qi is in the head, and it stops in the brain."  So through acupuncture to stimulate the cortical area outside the brain to regulate the flow and circulation of Qi.

Scalp Acupuncture are effectiveness, safety, and lack of side effects by professional trained acupuncturist, thus make it a highly effective treatment for neurotypical symptoms. We are not guarantee that all the symptoms will be resolved, but most patients are responsive to the initial treatment and show some improvement with the first session or at least within six session treatments.  In our practice, about 80% of our patients have a good response and even major improvement if early intrude the therapy.  The likelihood of experiencing a positive response following the initial treatment is dependent on the nature and duration of the disease, the patient’s constitutional condition, and his/her motivation to improve as well.
