  • Dyslexia,
  • OCD,
  • Insomnia.

Most patients are responsive to the initial treatment and show some improvement with the first session or at least within six to twelve treatments.  In our practice, about 80% of our patients have a good response and even major improvement early on.  The likelihood of experiencing a positive response following the initial treatment is dependent on the nature and duration of the disease, the patient’s constitutional condition, and his/her motivation to improve as well.

Dr. Bella Tan and Dr. Kent Eee have been using Scalp acupuncture for more than 20 years, they both are the expertise and professional in this field as well in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

What is Auricular Acupuncture

Auricular Acupuncture-Ear Acupuncture is more unique acupuncture therapy.

Auricular Acupuncture also called Ear Acupuncture, is a method of diagnosing and treating diseases by observing (or detecting) and stimulating specific areas of the auricle (that is, auricular points). Among the various methods of acupuncture, the Auricular Therapy is a more unique acupuncture therapy.

Auricular Acupuncture has its own stimulation area. Although it is concentrated on the small ears, the number of auricular points is second only to body points. In particular, it also has the advantages of diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and health care. The application of certain areas of the ear for diagnosis and treatment of diseases originated in ancient China. However, it is in modern times that great progress has been made and a more complete treatment has been formed.

According to guided by theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Zang-Fu functions, we using extremely fine needles to stimulate auricular acupuncture points, to achieve the purpose of adjusting the functions of the viscera and treating diseases.
