          Two Tan Acupuncture & Rehabilitation, or present Two Tan Wellness started in year 2001 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ( search Facebook name: Two Tan Acupuncture & Rehabilitation ) by Dr. Bella Tan and her late father, Dr. Michael Tan, thus how the name got its reputation. This particular name can also link with beautiful herbology formula decoction  " Er Chen Tang" , famous in treating irritable cough and resolved phlegm and dispel dampness from the body for hundreds years.

          Presently our lead practitioners Dr. Bella Tan and Dr. Kent Eee each have over twenty years of clinical experiences in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine methods and natural healing skills. These gives us a long and abundant history in TCM field experiences and good reputation no matter in Malaysia and Canada. We have helped thousands of our clients to regain their wellness and our patients to reverse their symptoms from their illnesses struggling.

          In year 2020. Two Tan Wellness has been located in Nova Scotia. Our mission is to help Canadians and local community to have more profound experiences in authentic Acupuncture and TCM natural healing. We will provide true services and gives outstanding skills to everyone in this journey, we walked with our patients together. Dr. Kent Eee and Dr. Bella Tan are the only practitioners in Nova Scotia with professional full course certified in TCM University education background, which is total 11 years or 8 years in TCM education training field in China. Moreover, both of them comes from a long line of TCM practitioner’s family background in Malaysia, they have started learning and endures in the vast profound ancient knowledge which inherited generation through generation in each of their own family in a young age.

Our mission is to gain and strive for wellness together with our patient, to walk the journey of illness together, to surpass the loop and win the challenges together each time, especially when there is no light or faith, we like to turn the corner, overcome the circumstances through natural healing with all our clients when they need us. Healing starts from a touch, it is our slogan and our mission as well.

Chinese Medicine Doctor, Acupuncture Doctor

          Dr. Bella Tan comes from a long line of TCM practitioners in Malaysia, a country in South East Asia. Her father is a Chemistry Engineering and went to study TCM at Xia Men TCM University in China after seeing a professional TCM practitioner has helped his father stop seizures just with three days Herbal Formula. From that day on, her father has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 20 years. He is very famous and well known at the local region for effective results especially in helping Autism, ADHD and OCD kids with the knowledge of Chemistry Engineering and TCM, you can imagine how powerful it will be. 

          Dr. Bella reluctant to take this line initially for her interest is in Music, she has a calling on Music as she recall. Until her father got stroke in 1997, her perspective for TCM has changed tremendously. She has seen how TCM herbal formula pills saved her father from brain surgery before going into the surgery room. This surgery has the risk to cause her father 50% become a vegetable and another 50% will die on the surgery table according to the doctor and they have requested the family to signed the consent letter while waiting vacancy for the surgery room. She has seen how Acupuncture treatments help her father from crawling on the floor until he was able to stand up by his own feet and can practice again in his own clinic within 9 months period of time only. In her heart, she knew there is something undiscovered by the world in TCM.  Inspired by her late father and miracles results from TCM, she have decided to put her best effort in her studies in Guang Zhou TCM University in China. Dr. Bella was rewarded with Bachelor Degree after five years of study and internship together in Guang Zhou TCM University in year 2000. 

          After a year of clinical practice, she enrolled herself again into Guang Zhou TCM University at 2002 for three years of Master Degree, and her thesis is regarding “ Stroke Rehabilitation with Acupuncture and Herbal Formula in Clinical Research”. Then she was awarded with Master Degree at 2005. At 2006, she continue her practice in her own clinic, at Two Tan Acupuncture & Rehabilitation. With an amount of 35 patients a day is a normal routine. In 2010, she further her study for Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Moxibustion at Guang Zhou TCM University and earned her Ph.D. in year 2013.

Dr. Bella Tan has many experiences in her clinical practice and her research, she is knowledgeable and kind to her patients. She has high reputation in TCM field. She also started to lecture at Malaysia TCM college since 2006 and INTI University TCM faculty as a clinical practice professor since 2013, now present she is lecturing at CCATCM at Bedford Hyw, Halifax, Canada. Her specializing in Insomnia, Anxiety , Infertility, Obstetrics and Rehabilitation for Special Needs kids. She has been invited to cast on famous TV shows in Malaysia several times. Until 2020, she has more than 20 years of clinical experiences and all of her patients love her so much, no matter in Canada or Malaysia.

          Dr. Bella Tan is one of the board member of CMAAC. She is a registered Acupuncturist and a professional TCM practitioner in Canada now.                    

Chinese Medicine Doctor, Acupuncture Doctor

          Dr. Kent Eee comes from a long line of Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM ) practitioners in Malaysia, a country in South East Asia. His family has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for more than 80 years at the county and is very famous and well known at the local region for effective results. Dr. Kent has inherited the gifts and talents from the family, inspired by his father and miracles results from Traditional Chinese Medicine, he enrolled himself into Shan Dong TCM University at his twenties. Dr. Kent was rewarded his Bachelor Degree after five years of study and internship in Shan Dong, China. 

          Straight away, Dr. Kent practiced his medicine at Two Tan Acupuncture & Rehabilitation Centre in Puchong, Malaysia and now at Two Tan Wellness in Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Kent Eee had have helping more than 30 children with Autism, Hyperactivity children (ADD & ADHD),  Epilepsy, Cerebral palsy and After Stroke patient daily since then, he has helped them reverse their symptoms and relieved their struggling with a period of time using Acupuncture and TCM Herbology remedies.

          In 2012, he further his studies at Tian Jing TCM University for three years in Acupuncture & Moxibustion, he graduated and awarded the Master Degree in Acupuncture & Moxibustion in 2015. After post graduating, he was invited to serve as an attending acupuncturist in the Acupuncture Department of Malaysia General Hospital. 

          When Dr. Kent Eee was 13 years old, his mother began to train him how to cook and taught him the essence of Chinese cooking techniques, which gave him a sensitivity gift in food. After learning TCM, he would like to further exploration and research in combining Chinese Herbal with food diet in daily meal to improve body health and increase Wei Qi, balance Yin and Yang, Qi and Blood circulation, to achieve smooth flows circulation without stagnation and building up immune system as a motive. Dr. Kent have 4 kids . during his wife's confinement months, he would be responsible for the Medicinal  Confinement Diet and Remedies for his wife throughout the confinement month. With a delicacy care through Medicinal Confinement Diet plan, his wife gain a healthy active wellness apparently after having 4 kids delivery. 

Dr. Kent Eee has many experiences in his clinical practice and has high reputation in it. His specializing in Acute and Chronic Pain Relief, Sport injury, After Stroke Rehabilitation , Insomnia, Anxiety, Infertility, Obstetrics and Rehabilitation for Special Needs Kids. He also good at using natural therapies method which is Chinese Pediatric Massage and Chinese Herbal Remedies to help children from fever, cough, anorexia, asthma, allergic diseases syndromes.

          He has been invited to cast on famous TV shows in Malaysia several times. Until 2020, he has more than 10 years of clinical experiences and all of his patients love him, no matter in Canada or Malaysia.

          Dr. Kent is an active member of CMAAC. He is a registered Acupuncturist and professional TCM practitioner in Canada now. 

Acupuncture Doctor

          Mingheng, Li is a registered acupuncturist with the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC). As a teen, she went to see Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors lots of times for her health issues. Since then she started to have interests in TCM. She moved to Canada and has lived in Halifax since 2015. The difficulties in the local health and medical system let her start to think about how to take care of herself and her family for preventative and relief symptoms purposes. In 2019, she started learning acupuncture in the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine(CCATCM), and graduated by finishing 2220 hours on clinical site and lessons in acupuncture program and TCM foundation theory in 2021. She is well equipped and mature in her skill in alternative medicine. 

          Dr. Li focuses on gynecologic diseases, mental illness and chronic and acute pain symptoms. She knew exactly what a women's wellness treasure in and the core secret to taking care of their body and she has many clinical experiences on these illnesses, like dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain), PMS, hypomenorrhea, amenorrhea, PCOS, infertility and more. Most of her patients had reversed their symptoms through her magic hand.
